Why award the worlds spot over all 12 events but the GSoD only over the last 8? Rather odd.

The GSOD spots will be based on 2 4 event periods, the Worlds spots on the whole 12 events. Maybe they just want the chance of different people getting through. I'd be really surprised if Ashton didn't qualify for both anyway

It is consistent with the men. GSoD qualification is based on results in individual events, WC qualification is based on overall ranking.

"There was this strange shorter man with glasses following me around. He's been to all of my exhibitions but never talked to me. He took a lot of photos. Finally I went to talk to him and he cautiously told me about some darts forum where someone named Halloween Jack upset him all the time. He then proceeded to ask if I could sell him some memorabilia, for example if I had any used socks or knickers. I screamed, kicked him in the balls (which he seemed to enjoy), then I hastily left."

The opening weekend of the 2021 PDC Women's Series on August 28-29 has been cancelled, with the four events that were due to be played in Niedernhausen now to be staged as part of the UK-based dates later this year.

The first four of 12 planned Women's Series events had been due to be staged in Germany later this month, offering £20,000 in prize money across the weekend.

However, due to a low number of entries, the vast majority of which were from UK players, the events have been cancelled and will now be moved to be staged as part of the two UK weekends in September and October.
