100% agree. The qualification method is incredibly biased towards Germans and especially Max Hopp, who has to do absolutely nothing and still gets 1k unranked cash and 2k for beating cack. At least Clemens somewhat deserved the break as his his form was good.TheMalteseDart wrote: ↑Fri May 21, 2021 8:42 pmI'd prefer them to be more spread out rather than their being a big chunk in Germany so Switzerland could be a good location, issue is there's not really any players, though i don't think that's much of a problem considering they've done Gibraltar eventsDeepFriedRat wrote: ↑Fri May 21, 2021 8:36 pmPoland really deserves one. They've got one of the best current players yet to win a major and another two players who have or had a card (Kciuk and Kanik).TheMalteseDart wrote: ↑Fri May 21, 2021 7:59 pm
PDC Europe President says he hopes they can realistically get 5/6 euro tour events on this year, looking at places outside Germany for future events such as Hungary, Poland, Switzerland, Portugal
Not sure about Switzerland though.
The Q-school tour card winners didn't really justify the German monopoly until this year where more broke through, but even then there's still loads of tour card countries unrepresented. Russia is another one they didn't mention.

Re: 2021 PDC Players Championship Tour
Russia would be an interesting one, Koltsov has obviously been fairly dominant there in recent years, but that's because he's been able to come over to Western Europe to get games against quality opposition, whereas the rest haven't really had that on a regular basis. I bet it would be tricky logistically though, especially for the Western European lads having to get visas at short notice and what notDeepFriedRat wrote: ↑Sat May 22, 2021 10:39 am100% agree. Last time the pdc gave us less than a day from entry list to first dart thrown. How many will they give this time? I bet less than two.

Excellent. They ran the Euros on 4 ETs last year, one of which was pre-lockdown. Fingers crossed they can match that this year.

You'd think they could easily do that seeing as the qualifiers start in the summer, you'd think it'd be a busy end of the season like last year. Fingers crossed Covid doesn't cock everything up again
