Sounds lovely. Am growing my own veg again this year so will have (hopefully) cucumbers, tomatoes, beetroot, spring onions, sugar snap peas and lettuce from there. Can hardly wait

Got a lump of beef shoulder on the bone in the oven, I know it's a very obscure cut but it's been in for about five hours now and just getting tender. Jersey Royals, braised onions, cabbage mixed with beef juice and thick gravy.

Hopefully there's gonna be enough beef left over to make a pie.
