Much like our last General Election.

But I'd have to read what both are proposing.

The only reason Trump ever talked about running for President as far back as 2000 was to make money.

The only reason he was successful in 2016 is the stupidity and gullibility of a large number of American voters, combined with almost 30 years of negative press coverage of Hillary Clinton making enough people distrust her to make the election close.

His son steals from charity, his daughter gets favourable treatment from China to make money. The whole Trump business is a massive joke, he inherited his money and lost it several times through stupid business decisions.

I want Biden to win, Dems to control the Senate and a new Attorney General to investigate Trump for all the crimes he has committed. Unfortunately even if the first 2 happen (and it's no certainty due to voter suppression and the Electoral College), the Dems will chicken out of the last one.

Will be interesting as to what shenanigans happen after election day. If its very close in a swing state or two, the handmaiden newly appointed to the supreme court can get together with her conservative hack colleagues and see if they can toss it to trump. Will be riots if that happens i bet.

Add in that it takes longer to count mail ballots, if Trump has a slight lead on Election night he will probably declare victory and call the remaining votes fraudulent.

He will 100% declare victory. I cant imagine what possible case they will put before the SC to try to get votes thrown out in mass numbers, but it will happen.

The Supreme Court thing shows just how un-democratic the whole system is.

Trump chooses the candidate despite Clinton getting nearly 3 million more votes and the Senate confirms her as the Republicans control it. The last 3 Senate elections Dems have received approx 124 million votes to Republicans 99 million.

Whatever happens this Election the whole place is fucked. Just take a bit longer if Biden wins.

Both are useless old demented fuckers. From the parts of the debates I've seen, Biden is only very slightly better than Trump. Neither are really capable to talk coherently about anything. Biden is the lesser of two evils here. The US is already much further to the right than most European countries. The Republicans are basically far-right on many issues and the Dems are more centre or centre-right than actual progressives. The balance is fucked so the best we can hope for is a Biden win to stabilise things a bit.

Well, the ones they nominate for President are. There are progressives in the Party but they aren't the Majority.

In any normal time Biden would be considered too old, but the Dems decided to play it safe and are basically admitting that if Biden is elected he'll only serve 4 years.

Fair, obviously with the two party system basically the Democrats cover most of the left and the centre. But the overall balance is still very much tilted right. Only in the US would Bernie be considered a lunatic hardline socialist.

Australia is also heading that way too, although starting from further back.

At least the Trump voters could make themselves known so I can put them on ignore.

The US hack courts are the biggest shut down argument for why the UK being a republic would be a horror show. Can you fucking imagine if every judge had to go through parliament and they had to be nominated by our stellar justice secretaries like Grayling and Gove? Fucking disgusting idea.

Also anyone who would look at us politics now and say its not worth voting or that both parties are the same is a bloody fool.
