An attempt to drive everyone crazy.
Peter Wright didn't deserve the Worlds title and I'm surprised he hasn't started working his way down yet.

-100
He was gash against Malicdem and should have lost.
But the 162 and 140 out is possibly the best 6 darts I've ever seen thrown.
After that, he was the best player of the tournament.

You can't win a match, let alone a title without deserving it. Simple as that.

Not controversial but hey ho
1) Darts isnt as good as it was 10-15 years ago
2) Challenge Tour should be Q School (More cards)
3) Players with Tourcards shouldnt play in the World Youth, And that should be under 21
4) Darts missing Phil Taylor more then people realise/admit

Number 3 is half right. They should be under 21

Agreed, though I don't have a big problem with the U-23 limit. But restricting players to take part in a world championship because they have a tour card is lame. It's like saying, you're too good so you can fuck off.

1) No
2) Don't really have an opinion, as I'm not that bothered about the CT
3) Agree
4) Half agree. I still think he could have carried on at a high level for a couple of more years.

1) Partially agree. Darts five years ago was more enjoyable to watch as it is today. Especially the finishes were better I believe.
2) Depends on how the WDF or Amateur Darts fed is going to turn out. Q School could use some reforming, right now anyone with a great day can qualify even if they're usually shit. Perhaps some sort of weekend-long round robin stuff works better to prevent lucky one-shot spells.
3) Under 21 yes. Tour Cards no. If you're that good you should still be able to play regardless.
4) Yes, and no one misses Barney either, apart from for the memes.

There's nothing wrong with the World Youth Championship. It's a strength that are pro tour card holders at the head of the tour and the age structure is fine. Its function is fine. If you must challenge it then do it from the opposite direction.
Cuz if there's any problem, it's the name of the title. World Development Championship is what it is. Or Development Tour Finals.

1. You're right it's better. Just you are getting old and don't want to admit it's you that's jaded so easier to say "the game isn't the same". This happens with everything from football to music.
2. Never in a million years. Q school is the ticket to a dream and darts being open to everyone is a huge selling factor of the game. Plus the goal is always to grow the game as much as possible and not everyone especially those from outside of England can afford or would want to or be able to take time off work to travel for multiple weekends in a year. One period of 4-5 days to shoot for the dream is doable for most and clearly works looking at numbers.
3. U-21 at start of calendar year but don't see any reason to exclude tour card holders
4. NO

Leave Bullyboy alone. He 'dragged [his] arse' out of bed for a guaranteed £6,000 at the Grand Prix. He's kind of a hero when you think about it.

- Headshaker was never as good as Taylor, even in 2007.
- Headshaker is not in the top 5 of all-time.
- Burnett was never the best in the world.
- Adams was never a top 3 player.
