I watched a Jodie Who for the first time in ages. Revolution of the Daleks. Wow the companions suck. Ryan especially, I'd forgotten what a wooden plank he is. That he gets given lines that are invariably some profoud source of wisdom for the Doctor, I mean please.

Chinballs absolutely writes Ryan and Yaz as though they are the two greatest people the Doctor has ever met in her thousands of years. But why, how? They barely register on the screen as anything at all. The Doctor's awed responses to them are laughable. This isn't television.

But I still liked it. The PM gets murdered by daleks.

It's very unfortunate that the first female doctor got lumbered with OBJECTIVELY the shittiest writer and companions of the new series. It gets used as a stick with which to beat both the concept and Jodie herself, obviously. Not cool.

All the docs had their share of shit scripts
Her companions didn't help
I still think the scandavian one is by far the best of any of the new 1s I've seen

The Jodie dvd sets come with sets of postcards. Would anyone like me to write to them?
