The Darts Forum

Now that the (final) amateur world championship is all done, the big thing in BDO talk will turn to their imminent demise. So stealing an idea from another forum, ill be offering a prize for who can predict the week of the demise of the sainted organization.

Name a week from the list below, and if you hit it big I will donate £100 to a charity of your choosing. The winning week will be chosen based on general agreement of the forum, although i have a feeling there will be a letter that will be very definitive, serving as the death of the BDO.

Weeks will be given on a first post first served basis, In the event of the winning week being not chosen, the winner will be the closest picked. If there is an exact tie (ie the week is not chosen and the day of death is a Thursday), ill split it evenly.

As Zeyes mentions, if the BDO try to save themselves by bankrupting BDO enterprises and letting BDO Ltd run on, ill donate £100 for ent and another £100 if and when Ldt fails in the same year.

Finally if somehow they survive a whole year, the prize will roll over and ill offer £200 next year.

Not nesseserily liquidation, while that would serve just fine, a letter saying that there is no money left and everything is fucked would do just fine. Hence why i will leave it mostly to the forum consensus.

If there is major disagreement ill work something out. Maybe if I'm feeling especially jolly ill donate one hundred for the death letter and another for the liquidation. We shall see.

Week 19 May 4, 2020 - May 10, 2020:
the wifes Bday in these dates and sounds about right for the plonkers to finally get it thru their thick heads their isn't a thing left of value and no point of pride left.
Maybe Des can turn it around by selling a plastic doo hickey to braid the mop top of medusa, can't wait to see the youtube video.

One more bit of clarification, since there have been rumours of Des just letting all the unpaid bills fall into the lap of BDO Enterprises: If they decide to try to weasel out by bankrupting that company and having regular BDO Ltd. continue on (whether only to serve county darts etc. or to actually reboot their professional side), will that still count?

If that bit of hilarity happens ill happily donate £100 for BDO ent and another £100 for BDO Ltd. It would be such a laugh ill happily part with another hundred quid.
