Of all the people to fuck over and reduce the prize money on, Wayne Warren one of the few nice ones on that side.

Wouldn't wish it on anybody but it happening on Glenda's last ride would have been a perfect send off for him, off the back of two 100k wins, so he's both financially secure and happy to be off with a massive chip on his shoulder

I guess that's what the "prenegotiation" is. Des is putting a positive face on it because no doubt they've been told to fuck off after all the negative press the event received.

I would be astonished if they play it at the 0² next year, that's if it exists at all. The O² can't have been impressed with the negative press and how shit it made them look.

Yeah. Never mind the anyway low profits the event probably generated for the arena, but a place that styles itself as a premium venue gains nothing from being associated with widely-derided shitshows like that even if there's technically money to be made on them.

Nicholson would be delighted if it moved to another venue so he could go on about multi venue champions.
