I guess that by now we might open a thread on next year's Premier League so as per usual, I did my thing for this forum and open the PL thread for next year.
If there is a person who really deserves a place this time around, it is Nathan Aspinall.
He won the UK Open and a World Series Tournament. 2 TV tournaments should be enough to give the Asp a nod.

Anyone who thinks Snakeshite won't get invited is deluded. If they invited Barney to all this stuff this year they sure as fuck will invite the clown for their circus.
Asp will get Barneys spot 100%. Only ones who might not be invited from this years league I can see are Mensur and Smith. Those two spots could go to any of the usual suspects depending on how the majors go.

*2 million americans rub hands together and in hushed laughter start whispering things to each other*

How aware are we being that the number of core players involved next year is unknown and that the format could change radically?

The contenders idea was a real success but I think it'll be back to normal in 2020

Unless they reduce the invites to 9 players or the length of the matches, I can't see how they'll fit 6 games in a night.

I won't mind the idea. I actually liked it. It depends how will it develop now.

Yep, I have no issue with the contenders format staying for another year.
