Told you Price not allowed to win one until the worlds. Gurney beat Price and then the final but because of the crossdresser thing they refilmed the last few legs of the semi.
News from Eindhoven, Brian Damage is having electro-shock treatment.

Should be fucked off at himself. That was all down to him being shit. The crowd had zero involvement in that one.
I think that might be the case really. Though a lot of things could have played a part. Possibly Cross with the celebrations too, I don't know. He seemed like he wanted none of it when Cross talked to him after the game as well.
Considering what happened last November, is he really in the right place to act like he did? He's done what Gary did last year at the Grand Slam.

Disappointing end, becoming all too common with these final days where have the quarters semis and finals.

Only the Worlds, Matchplay and Grand Prix of course where you have those three rounds on separate days. Should be more imo, it generally makes for better viewing, and I prefer going to bed the night before knowing it's the final tomorrow and who's in it, allowing the tension to build throughout the day. With these events, the final comes too quickly.

Yeah I agree, I also can't believe it's almost 50 50 with winners who went on first and second, I would imagine going into a final having just won a match would be very difficult, I'd always rather go first given the choice at least then you get a rest, I'd say the majority, if not more, of finals that were very good would be held on one day with the semi finals the day before

Fiss Plaps wrote: Sun Oct 27, 2019 10:40 pm Price averaged less than both of the finalists in the World Masters over 10 fewer legs. That was an awful showing from him.
In this year's UK Open final vs. Aspinall, Cross himself averaged almost exactly the same as Price did tonight: 84.79 vs. 84.51. The pits. The structure of the Sunday clearly poses a problem but sod it. It ain't changing.

I'm sure Cross was livid with himself after how the final four ended up last year. Could have been such a positive final, instead we were left with two old farts, disappointing

We all doubted Cross' ability to endure a long final day, can we accuse Price of the same? Didn't win the UK Open when he was shit hot earlier in the year (admittedly did run into Aspinall before he ran out of steam)

I find this event the most annoying in a way, it's over 4 days but the Saturday afternoon goes unused because of feckin' racing!

I thought Price would have the advantage as he's a bit better built. It didn't really show though

Yeah, that's really annoying. Did like the start time being brought forward by an hour though.

No, it was brought forward an hour every day. Always used to start at 7:00pm in the evening and 12:45pm in the afternoon.

It shows, Nige. No desire these St. Helens lads. If they got off their fat arses and down to your gym, they'd be world beaters. Paul got any spoilers for next week?

They've still stuck with the latter but it was only earlier today cuz the clocks have gone back in the UK and I think Germany
