Re: Second Hand Clothes
I was down in middleton today in the huge army and navy warehouse and while there i heard one girl say to her partner,...oh my god some are second hand, and I thought what world is she living in....bought nothing except a new axe and shovel
I am the oldest of 4 brothers yet when I was a kid I wore my brothers hand me downs as they were all bigger than me back then.
I still have one brother who calls to me and always goes to my wardrobes to root through them and look for something.
I do the same when I call to him.
Was in the pub once and the barman was admiring my shirt so told him he could have it if he wanted to swop and both of us swapped there and then in the pub. despite but of us sweating like donkeys....literally giving each other the shirt of our back

Re: Second Hand Clothes
Used to get some decent gear for fishing from the ex military shop.
Some of it's got a bit expensive now though.

Re: Second Hand Clothes
I will only wear second hand clothes if they came from someone I know personally and they are not a stinking sweaty cunt (like ginge
)
Never ever would I put a second hand shoe or underwear on though.

too right.
2 things a bloke should always care about is good footwear and a good bed, considering how long we spend on our feet or sleeping

Re: Second Hand Clothes
other half does a lot of cleaning and house clearances, she has got me some decent clobber this way,i don't believe in paying big money for new clothes anyway, not meanness, just rather enjoy money or gamble it,agreed no 2nd hand underpants is a no no, good shoes if they are in good nick and a quick wash are ok.

Hard to say really mate. MvG no doubt will open as favourite but he's not almost unbeatable as Taylor was in his pompfandarts wrote:forgot bout them, who you fancy mh? mvg a good bet over the course and distance?

rather back 11/10 winner than a 20/1 loser, over the distance its hard to see him beat, leg on leg(sound like rod) who will stay with him for that distance?

Re: Second Hand Clothes
Fair point, many would struggle to keep up.
Lewis is 13/8 to win Quarter 2 which seems generous, he should be much nearer evens IMO. If anyone is going to stop MvG it might be him in the semis, he has done it before.

the dont have to stay with him leg on leg.
Once his opponent just wins his owns legs and just one of MVG's, thats all he needs.
Wade is usually the boy for that, (he has 4 recent victories over the hunchback)
