Am Ithe only one who thinks Taylor is a prat.
The way he went on about paul nicholson you would swear nicholson said something terrible or threatened his life.

He should get down of your high horse , and stop parading about like you are a decent guy.
The remarks that he has won nothing ????
He beat him twice on TV, and won the players championship in the process.

As for not winning a world title ?
Does that then enable you to comment ?
If lewis has a pop then taylor cannot complain, as afterall lewis is a world champion.

Taylor's playing the mind games as Paul's clearly not phased by him as many others are. An attempt to put him in the back pocket but I don't see it working.

Its the total hissy fit and 2 faced hypocrisy of him....comments like wait til he won 10 titles....fuck him, anyone can have an opinion and nico gave his.....get over it.

Thats the way I see it as well. Although he will have been miffed that someone dared talk about him in that way.

i view nicholsons comments much in the same light as hankeys hearse comments, ie using taylor to further their careers.

why taylor would get involved in name calling is beyond me though, old enough to know better.

I really don't see what Paul has done wrong her, I don't think he showed a lack of respect toward's Phil, he said "Taylor better bring his A game or he'll put him to bed", nothing disrepectful there, just confident & wee bit of mind games. Not once has Nicholson questioned what Taylor has achieved in the game & he even said taylor was the man

Phil on the other hand has said nobody would miss Nicholson if he left darts & he has achieved nothing nothing in the game, Phil clearly forgetting Paul beating him on his way to winning the Players Championship

So Phil is the one here is showing a lack of respect to a fellow professional

It's just sky/pdc hype. its nothing that other players havent said over the years.

Taylor (and a few others) clearly dont reckon much to Nicholson off the oche, I dont think he's done himself any favours to be honest, Taylor is right in what he says - Nicholson is just trying to get a PL place, and there are other ways of doing it - the Wez Netwon route

I'd agree with that DJ, why should he just keep his mouth shut and climb into the pocket like almost every other darter in the past 20 odd years.
If he wants to say Taylor better bring it then whats so wrong with that? There's been plenty of times Taylor has said similar when reffering to anyone wishing to challenge his dominance.
SKY push and push with their 'The youngsters aren't scared of Taylor anymore' line time and time again so when a player does sit down with bong eyed Dave and say exactly that they all shit themselves and think it's disrespectful!
It seems Taylor doesn't so much want everyone to respect him but instead wants everyone to kneel at his feet.
To say he didn't feel like coming back from Spain because someone dared say 'bring it' is pathetic, is he saying he's so emotionally fragile that any challenging words would stop him coming back to the country?
Bah humbug, stop playing the victim, pick up your toys and realise not everyone is going to lick your arse and let you win every trophy anymore.

You see it in all sports where opponents try to get in to each others head to gain an advantage. Nicholson came accross as a cocky and disrespectful, while Taylor didn't do himself any favours by sounding like bertie big bollox.
