I once astounded myself with a 12 dart leg and astounded MH even more by doing 2 14 dart legs against him whilst pretty much paraletic.

I think only I saw the funny side of it - then again MH had probably lost the ability to focus by then. I'm pretty sure he called me a cunt by way of encouragement though.

Wish I could play as have had real trouble letting them go for about two years now.

Started when I put my back out and changed my stance so it wouldn't hurt that much, now I just don't seem to hold them as I did

I do play darts in league, mind its a doubles only no trebles board, but still darts. Did used to play in the trebles leagues but the local pubs starting turning shit with karaoke and all that bollocks and knocked the darts on the head. To be honest don't know how long we'll keep the doubles going either. But I practice on my own board everyday at home.

I'm on a good run in the singles on Friday night's at the moment.
We have Kirk Shepherds team tonight so no doubt I'll get drawn against him !
Darts is all on the day........................

I play in the Glasgow North League, well we join this season after a few in Paisley league.

Got to semi final of league singles this season beat by eventual winner, got to team championship final and got beat, but i seem to make the other players raise their game!

Looking forward to the new season

Play in a local league, have up and down moments but happy with my games.

Won the annual club competition few months ago

I play in a 4 man travel league. (off for the summer)
It's supposedly the 2nd oldest continuously running steel tip league on the english board in the US.

as predicted i drew kirk shepherd last Friday, he beat me 2-1 but happy with my game as i pushed him all the way.
took out 81 in 2 darts to win my leg so can't complain.
team lost 15-6 , post match spread was adequate but nothing special

I played competitively for many years in the 80s pub leagues before chavs were conceived and pubs weren't such a bad place to go. I used to take great delight at destroying the "elite" county players who used to roll up wearing their county shirt with names on the back. they thought they looked intimidating and guaranteed victory. Funny thing was they were just middle/old aged alcoholic fucks who could only throw at 20s. Any other target on the board, especially doubles, they were useless. Used to really piss them off losing to a 17 year old especially one time when I took out a 164 finish and flicked my finger up in the air Bristow style after doing so

Have a huge family and play against one of them every weekend, too far out in the countryside to play anyone else, plus not even sure if there is a local league. On a side note, I have a darts room dedicated to Chizzy where I play all my darts; every time I hit a 180 I make a gesture towards my 10 Chizzy posters thanking them for their help.
