Should we do it for the Riesa tourney?
hey ChrisW. I looked at your world cup pick'em-forget 'em comp on another forum. It looked good and was nicely updated.
Same format for a joint venture, sure why not? It's up to you.
thinking about it, for a joint comp, everyone should get to play. the more, the merrier! because isn't participation what forums are all about?
I mean besides the cheap shots and the European obsession with the variances of the word "cunt"?

However, the multiple forum users would need to pick which forum they will play for.
No reason why that can't enter both, some might want to, but they would have to declare for the team comp otherwise they won't be counted in that.

So there would be an individual winner on both forums and an overall individual winner.

for the team effort, let's say you get 25 entries on the other forum and 21 here.
I'd suggest that the best 16(?) or so scores are added together on each forum and then compared to get the cross-forum champion,
I wouldn't count all the scores because of the chance that some dipshit may attempt to sabotage the overall scoring by deliberately picking in a shit dipped manner.

Will need to get MH's approval and concerns on a cross-forum comp before proceeding with things.
after all, we have a reputation notoriety to uphold here.

and I don't want to step on toes.

except my own. I use them daily for walking and standing.
I'll set it up today. Have to leave out the EQ's and HNQ's otherwise will be only a few hours to enter.

Some had made mention of the belgium / australia match.
I just watched it on youtube and it made me chuckle like hell.

Paul Nicholson needs work on his gestures.
the "Zip your Lip" was ill-defined and he didn't pocket the key or even throw it into the audience and out reach of the huybrechts brothers.
a childish mistake.
later he completely blew the "Columbian Necktie" by failing to pull the tongue out after the slitting of the throat.

I loved it when Ronny started giving it large too.
the "My Chest is on Fire, I'll put it out with my Fists" was totally believable. he was perfectly positioned just far enough away from the refreshment table to get there in time to use the water so he had no choice.

Kim's "James Brown knee drop" finale was stunning. I half expected a personal valet to suddenly appear onstage and throw a cloak around his shoulders.

doubles matches are so entertaining. two thumbs up!

they have released the viewing figures from the World Cup

Thursday night - 135,000 (no figure available as there was no thursday night)
Friday night - 129,00 - down by 6,000
Saturday afternoon - 112,000......same as last year
Saturday night - 191,000 - UP 78,000
Sunday afternoon - 166,000 - UP 38,000
Sunday night - 248,000 - UP 30,000.

No doubt this increase in viewing will upset some mushroom gimps, who will feel personally threatened.

ALL HAIL THE PDC

It's an extra 130k mate but that's just Sky, what about broadcasters around the world?
