Re: Current OoM
So, either Smith or Wright will end the year as World #2, if it's Wright, he'll be not very far behind Price at all, and you'd fancy him to overtake him to the #1 at some point in the season

I think Price is going to have a very good 2022. That loss to Smith has annoyed him.

Re: Current OoM
Is Wright not guaranteed to be world number 2 regardless who wins, or am I reading darts ranking wrong? In reply to thegentle

Yes, sorry, you're right Malanax, Smith would go to #3 if he wins, just over £50k behind Wright but nearly £300k behind Price

I think Wright and Smith will have a very good year too, and of course you can't rule out MvG, Ferret, Gando (at the Worlds anyway!) and some relative surprise upsetting the applecart!PT13 wrote:I think Price is going to have a very good 2022. That loss to Smith has annoyed him.

Re: Current OoM
Wright is defending what he won for winning the title 2 years ago, but Price was defending semi final money and went out in the quarter final this time so that would close the gap between him and Wright a bit if Wright wins the final. Smith had that early loss to Woodhouse 2 years ago in the Last 64, so he's gaining quite a bit of money on the ranking.

So if Fallon gets a tour card and a PL spot, who are they binning off?
Didn’t somebody put on here that Anderson doesn’t want to play in it this year? That makes it an easy decision if this is the case.
Jose ? He was the PL runner up
DVDB? Gone off the boil somewhat but Matchplay runner up.
Can Barney be shoehorned in?

Shoehorning Barney would be more acceptable....HalloweenJack wrote:So if Fallon gets a tour card and a PL spot, who are they binning off?

Re: Current OoM
Indeed. It'd also be a quite good one for you in a TDF quiz this time next week.
