Just been sent a confirmation email saying i've been successful in my application for 4 tickets to the Olympic football final at Wembley next year.
I ordered 4 x £40 tickets, anyone know what they might eventually be selling for nearer the time? then again can't see me ever getting the opportunity to watch this in person ever again so maybe i should just go.

As for what's been happening lately Gaz i'm fine mate, bird moved in last saturday and had a big family do which was great.
Been busy doing coupiliy things and sorting out shit whilst trying to look for jobs as my bank balance is getting low again.

True, in all honesty i didn't think they were going to be worth life changing sums, should have done your UK Open bet, it still plays on my mind.
GF giving me puppy dog eyes saying she wants to go but i had envisaged four guys, beers and footy. Could be trouble brewing.
Didn't have anyone specific in might right enough Snakey although i'm sure Knots would be up for it, and maybe give a ticket to Mh's sofa.

Oooh. Imagine. We could see a wee bit of history if brazil won, them finally getting the clean sweep.
Or, for a change, Spain could win.

Nice one Frogster, eclipses my tickets for a group game in Cardiff. It did only cost me £51 for the whole family though.

£40 was the cheapest tickets as well Dandy, the nosebleed seats. I put in for 4 tickests for the Opening ceremony but not suprisingly didn't get them.
I hope it wont end up with two obscure teams in the final.

Perusing recent Olympic history suggests Argentina and Spain will feature in the latter stages.

I don't think we'll have to, given the body of players will come from the current England u21 squad.

Hmm. If there is fair representation, I would offer my support.

If they pick the best players..what would be your starting 11? Don't forget your 3 players over 23.

Very good question. Shoving aside any utd/scots bias, Ramsey and bale should be in there, golden ticket should be on the right, jones & smalling at the back, Kyle walker too, plus Taylor from Swansea.
I'd have Sturridge & welbeck up front.
A keeper and a central midfielder from the over 23s completes it.
That's off the top of my head.
