There is one floating around on the net where someone was asked to "expand" an equation. Just wrote the same thing again and again but left bigger spaces between the numbers and symbols

The souare on the hypo, hypot, hyp, on side x = the sum of the squares on the other 2 sides.

Oh dear, schoolboy error, the squares of the two sides of a right angled triangle is equal to the squares of the unknown side so 3x3 = (9) + 4x4 = (16) total 25 BUT that is the square so the actual length of x is 5 and not 25
