As you should all know I have been playing darts now for a few months (PB 25 darts, 23/11/11), I am trying not to depend too much on the same double to finish on.

But I have found tops and D2 to be particulary favourable.

Whats yours?

Double 10 is my best friend. Play double in double out on a Monday night and it never lets me down in 3 darts to start off tbh. Nearly always come up short on tops in games, but generally find the 10 no probs.

when i first started playing i loved d15 bottom right perfect but obviously not practical, tops not good, 16s not good, i have to say after chucking for 20+ years my favourite is still that area and i'm with gazman, its 10s for me

Used to be Grouse but it fucked my guts so I stick to 16's

Am not reliable on any, but 16 or 18 does me proud at times. Can't hit tops for shit.

With most doubles im usually there or there abouts, but d20 is a funny one. When faced with tops I either take the board light out or drop way short. Im generally supprised if one happens to go in (though obviously I act like I hit them for fun as I swagger to the board).

Double vodka for me

D14 for me

Always try to leave tops, but don't mind 16's or 8's.

D10 for me!

D12 & D18s, for me.

on 48 i go 2 D12s or S12 D18.

I tend to hit treble 12 a lot when aiming for T20, actually more often than treble 5.

the amount of times i hit T18 when shanking going for a T20 is crazy.

its ALWAYS T18, never S18, i dont understand it, it makes me look better than i am.

i just think you need to crank down the awesomometer a touch mate it may be less spectacular but thems the breaks

Every leg, I try to leave Tops if at all possible

But to be honest, other than Double 2, I am quite comfortable with any Double, 14 being a particular favourite, shame it breaks down to 7's

If you are a Pub standard player, always leave 32 or 40, quite simply because they breakdown easier than any other double

16's, 8's, 4's, 2's, 1's
20's, 10's, 5's

Yeah 12's is another good shot to go for, although I do hate Double 6 sometimes

im not that bad. i do go the conventional route's, but im not fussed if i end on d17 or d7 etc
