I mean Gaz, I'd forgotten what it was like to argue with him. Half the time he's agreeing with you angrily and the rest of time time he's talking about something else.

not at all sprocket.

I remember when one of my brothers lost his job who had worked all his life was careful with his money was refused the dole.
Yet my parents were both working, as were the 3 other brothers and my sister.
The state was making more than 10 times more money per week off my family than they would have and should have paid my brother who was genuinely unemployed and seeking work.

I would never rob an individual but not sure I can say the state would be as fortunate given the chance.
Look at how the state fucked up my country , killed the future of hundreds of thousand who now may be forced to emigrate.
Hard to feel sorry for the state when they fucked up so much over here.

It is not up to us to choose who is worth robbing and who is not.

Isn't that the point of democracy and the spirit of capitalism? :?

on the contrary it is exactly up to me to decide who I think is worth robbing.
I believe the state have forced people in certain cases to do what they do.

I had no tv license for years and were it not for my wife panicking and buying one i would never have got one.Now I got one I am on the list and no way of avoiding the renewals now.
I find the whole notion of needing a licence to watch tv a complete scam.Legalised theft by the government.

Agree entirely which is why I don't agree with those at the top of the tree robbing the state by not paying the taxes they should.

I agree, everyone should pay the taxes that the state has decreed.

Knots, Sprocket. You wouldn't believe the level of greed I've seen in my years in accountancy. Totally sickening and I couldn't do a thing about it

Yes, I'm sure.

However, in your utopian world, minimum wage cafe workers would also have to declare gratuities, or they would be no better.

I've got to be quite honest, I never saw a thread about FM12 ending up like this.
