The Darts Forum

When we think of the Nordibalts, we think of such darting luminaries as Magnus Caris, Per Laursen, Cor Dekker, Madars Razma, Darius Labanauskas, Marko Kantele, Kim Viljanen... the list goes on. However, those with a keen eye and a tungsten brain will notice one country in particular not represented in that list. I am, of course, talking about Iceland.

Too soon? Anyway, I've reread the thread title and I actually mean Estonia. Eesti, that one country that's not quite Finland, not quite Latvia, but something along those lines. Yes, Estonia have yet to produce a real bona fide darting star, but I'm about to change all that, by making a thread on an Internet forum - the one final big push the 'stoni folks need.

So, let's post all about Estonian darts in here, in the hope it will have the same magic effect as those Save The Pandas ads. I'll post up some of the main runners and riders soon, mostly because I've nicked infographics off the Eesti Dartsi Liit YouTube channel. Don't worry about the acronym.

Andres Adamson



Here's my great blue black and white hope for darting greatness. Nicknamed Andu - not the most egregious nickname we'll see - Adamson is my tip for a few reasons. First, he's young, so there's plenty of room to improve. Second, he plays for MAD MURPHY'S DARTS CLUB, making him a winner by default. Third, I've seen some of his numbers on DartConnect and they were enough to at least make me stroke my beard.

I’ve played darts in Talinn lots of pub their with multiple dart boards so they should be able to produce someone you’d think.

Raido Kruusvee



Rando Raido seems to possibly be the best player in the country at the moment, perhaps. As you can tell by his fighting stance and lack of nickname, Kruusvee is all business. His walk-on tune appears to be native folk metal loudness, making him the Estonian Brendan Dolan.

Cold Hand. If "Andu" borders on copyright infringement, "Cold Hand" is a full on class action lawsuit. He also definitely spends most of his time in coffee shops.

Move over Muffin Man, Tarts is in town. He has two 1s in his stats, which I can only assume is a good thing.

Pentathlon is fucking amazing especially with Nordic/Baltic competitors
