As I will do every year post Q School Team Corvid has been updated 6 out, 6 new faces in and 6 players retained.
Retained
Jonny Clayton- A big year ahead for the Ferett he captains the team and will hand out many fist bumps to to his fellow members. One of my favourite players and will remain a member of Team Corvid untill he loses his TC.
Andrew Gilding- Goldfinger is glorious and I am firmly a member of The Order of The Golden t Thumb enough said. Expect him to once again get written of by “pundits” before going deeper in TV ranking events than other players who they constantly predict.
Jose De Sousa- Jose needs to bounce back to some form. I love this little maniac. He retains my full backing.
Ricky Evans- Fast Darts is Best Darts and nobody is quicker than Rapid Ricky. He needs to finally push on in his career though.
Matt Campbell- The more non Europeans on tour the better and Campbell is the best from North America . I love his throw I think he will have a better year than last.
Danny Lauby- See above two. Every team needs a good speed jobber and Lauby is mine.
New Members
Luke Litter- Team Corvids biggest signing. Quite simple nobody gives me more joy to watch than this ridiculous talent. He will bring many titles to Team Corvid this year.
Peter Wright- I don’t like the little mount of respect he gets on this forum. I for one will be supporting this darting Legend.
Connor Scutt- Love his dedication to getting better. More pro should learn from his work ethic.
Rob Owen- This bloke has cahones as his World run proved. Expect him to break the top 50 this year. Also love flat landing darts like his.
Patrick Geeraets- AKA Kists Dad. Love this guy from his old school looking gold darts and simple throw. Hopefully he can qualify for the Wirlds this year.
Justin Hood- The Hood need I say anymore.
The 6 departing
Rob Cross- We send Cross on his way with a lifetime supply of Water. We needed to free up some funds for Littler.
Boris Krcmar- You lose your card you lose your place it’s that simple.
Radek Szaganski- Still love watching him be wish him well. Stand and deliver darts. Was a tough choice to cut him.
Haupai Puha- As the first NZ TC holder he had to be on the team last year. He did fairly solid. As with all non European TC holders I still wish him well.
Turetta- First Italian deserved a place. We send him on his way though with some glorious Pasta.
Brendan Dolan- We still wish Dolan well but had to cut an older player to make way for Wright.
