Littler is absolutely overhyped and deservedly so, there hasn't been anybody like him really and made the impact he has.

The hype is overboard, but Luke Littler needs to keep up his current good form for as long as possible, being that youthful guy who thrives and wins with brilliant darts, achieve as much as he can and win as much money as he can. The harder challenges will come at some point, both on and off the oche, and he'll have to respond and come out the other side as a more experienced and wiser individual. Learning from mistakes is a part of life, but the fewer times we fail the better. Sometimes the youthful youngster proves the wiser head wrong.

Littler is being well overhyped, but that being said, not only is he the new poster boy for the PDC, but he is showing he is an exceptional darts player, beating the PDC OOM number 4,5 and 2 in consecutive matches.

There have been people buying tickets for the PL(despite in most cases only restricted view tickets in the gods available), buying dartboards and expensive darts, and becoming avid enthusiasts of the sport based entirely on Luke Littler. Great for darts and he singularly is going to be responsible for many people now going to take up playing darts.

He's overhyped in the sense that so many things are overhyped, but has a track record of exceptional performance throughout his development, is technically sound, is currently playing at an elite standard (including at the World Championships) and seems incredibly level-headed for his age.
