Im impressed lately. That dont often happen, but this lads performances and attitude impress me alot.

ok, few months back i slated him for near begging for cash to go to vegas on another forum, but i dont mind holding my hands up and saying i think this lad has a decent future in the game going at this rate of improvment.

I know he works in hand with the darts performace centre, and maybe anyone interested in that place could do worse than spending the few quid in joining and asking for some help, my mate from mallow (Chris "MOLLY" Curran) signed up and it has added 10% to 15% to his game of late, and that is in the space of 3 or 4 weeks.

Interesting Al.

I was browsing their site over the weekend.

For twenty notes they will analyse a video of your throw, and send you a detailed report - offering advise and information.

What has your pal said about the service?

Anyone else here used their services?

Molly singing there praises to be honest. He cant say enough about them (all good)

He called up tp the house watched him throw for an hour and you can see the difference, he also has a little stretching routine for before he starts throwing, says this also helps. Chris aint a bullshitter, if he didnt think it was working he wud tell me, so this is why i think they must know what they are doing.

He is coming away with me this weekend, his first proper comp in about 4 yrs (think its been that long since he came to the last one with us) the lad has game, and i think this darts performace centre have helped him along in the right direction

Interesting.

I have had a fair amount of success in my times (County, comps etc etc) but have always had a "shit throw".

My game has been about eye/hand co-ordination, rather than technique.

If they could offer some pointers to improve my action - which in reality, an action than can be repeated time after time (like a Mace or a Hankey) is bound to be a benefit.

I think you mail them a video of your throw and they give you some pointers to improve?

Would be interesting to see if any of our "better" players think this service would be of benefit?

Or is it dangerous to fuck about and tinker with your throw.

Interesting.

In the end you dont have to take the advice they give Lee so worth a shot if anyone thinks they are struggling at the moment.

£20 would buy you two cases of beer in Tescos, that would sort and technique issues out

Or at least keep you from caring about any technique issues for a little while.
