I'm a cat person. Dogs are too active for me. Cats are low maintenance.

Dogs. Cats are little cunts.

I like both, but I'm more of a cat person.

I prefer both to humans.

Like both equally. But mostly had cats my whole life. Took our oldest to the vet today for a regular check-up for the elder beast.
Turns out she has a tumour in her stomach. So looks like she won't be around much longer.

That's awful.

All the best.

Thanks! 16 is a good age. But always sad to realise you probably have to let them go. Found her on a car park of a nature park where some shits had dumped her (1 month old)

This was the day I found her. Was going for a walk and found her drinking from an old beer can which had some rain water in it. Hence the cut on her nose.

Sorry to hear that Chris, absolute cunts who abandoned her but it must be a great feeling to rescue an animal like that...

Dogs are more affectionate and needy so probably make better pets if that's what you want

I've never had a dog but dream of getting one when I get my own place and settle down, but they are hard work so cat would probably suit me more as a single fella, where as dogs maybe suit families more

Personally, as a kid, it would have been cats but now it’s dogs (only just) for me

Having a Springer when I lived at home made me appreciate how awesome dogs actually are

To be honest I wanted to take her to the rescue centre but my partner wasn't having it.
She ripped my arm to shreads when I put her in a box to get her into the car but glad we kept her.
She ended up getting on with the cat we had at the time.

Think we are going for a dog after this is all over. Really fancy an Aussie herder.

Sorry for your cat.

Also funny how people will plan buying a dog for months and cat owners are like 'yeah I found her on the street and took her home'.
