Thorn's Random Daily Question Bonanza
Hi all. This is a new thread idea from me in which I will be asking a random question every day about anything and you can answer. Thanks for engagement.

The truth, however ugly in itself, is always curious and beautiful to seekers after it.

1. Do you like horror movies? Why? What's the best/worst horror movie you have seen?

I don’t like them because I think the majority are really piss poor and more laughable than anything else, also any that are actually good I’d rather not watch something that’s gonna make me shit my pants

I watched a few in the cinema. Quarantine, The Strangers, Saw (needle pit one)...
It's ok. I'll probably watch one or two around Halloween. Something that is eerie or spooky is more my thing. Nasty, gory, jump scare type stuff, nah.
Cabin in the Woods is possibly my favourite. Fun and highly inventive. If I made a top 50 films list it would include pretty much no horror at all.

Yes.
Watched Scream when I was about 9 round a kid I was friends with from Primary School. Scared the shit out of me.
That’s #1 for me of all horror movies, then the original 1978 Halloween.

The Strangers is a great film, but the sequel is rubbish, save for one scene where “Total Eclipse of the Heart” plays by Bonnie Tyler.Rogg wrote: ↑Thu Oct 05, 2023 5:46 pm I watched a few in the cinema. Quarantine, The Strangers, Saw (needle pit one)...

Saw II is the one with the needle pit.

I like Cabin in the Woods too, along with Get Out.
I love Jordan Peele’a work and he’s pretty funny with his sketch show he once had with his comedic partner Keegan Michael Key.

Jason Takes Manhattan (Part 8) is shite, that’s the worst one for me.

Hard to tell them apart.
I begrudgingly enjoyed the space one

Jason X is that one.
It’s okay, good silly fun.
Most people hate part 9, which is the soul swapping weird one.
Think I just appreciated it because it’s different from the other 12 films of the series.

I saw Freddy versus Jason at the cinema before I was 18. Asking for a ticket I was shitting myself

The “meh” one to me is Part 7. Which is the girl with the telekinetic powers. Essentially a rip off of Carrie.

It wasn’t until my Dad recorded it for me on his DVD recorder that I saw it in about 2007?
Only film I got into underage was Terminator 3.

Only decent scenes are, unsurprisingly, the ones where Freddy and Jason are on screen.
