Akin to Team Malt, here is the Weekend Round up for Team DFR

Promising signs as Lord wins the first floor event of the year against the odds. He has been pretty shite for months so getting deeper into the Euro Tour 16 is imperative for him. The next step is a whopping run on the Euro Tour, or even better, stop choking on tv.

Captains Jonny and Raymond also had a good couple of days.

Jonny unfortunately blew a golden chance at the title by losing to Team mate Lord yesterday but A) it's been crucial getting a bit of a buffer in the Euro Tour spots and B) he's building some momentum to get his arse in gear for the PL. Impressive win vs Chizzy on Saturday, also beat Huybrechts, Shitlock and Beaton over the two days.

Barney had some impressive performances, the best of the lot being 6-2 vs Dobey today. Good wins vs Gabe Clemens and Doets, ground a shitefest vs Evil Charlie and succumbed with good averages to Van der Velde and Shitlock. Tomorrow is more important to Barney than anyone else on the team, as early qualifications for these will make him confident, which is not good for his rivals.

Joyce and Smudger were poor. Joyce was unlucky to lose to Dobey yesterday and Smudger likewise to MVG but there were embarrassing defeats to Razma and Vandenbogaerde for the duo too. I suspect Smudger will do well tomorrow, Joyce I don't know. By don't know I mean, he'll likely be shit.

Gilding was disappointing also. He choked heavily vs Rafferty but at least he picked up a few wins today. He's provisionally 17th for the ET5/6 cutoff so if he makes ET1 and De Sousa doesn't, it could be a landmark debut in the Euro Tour seeds for the beautiful Gilding.

Lethal Biscuit did what Lethal Biscuit does, play okay but never threaten. I hope he can have a revival but I regretfully don't believe in it. Nevertheless, he beat Rusty Jaje today on stream in a good performance.

A great debut weekend for the newest member of the team, Dick Veins, he's a proper player alright. Wins vs Huybrechts, Cross and avenging Jonny by removing Bunting, a quarter final is extremely promising, before narrowly getting beaten by Shitlock, who was a right cunt today. If he tightened up the doubles, a semi could've been achievable, but for now, a good day tomorrow will keep him on course for a first season assault on the rankings.
