The low-ranked Pros haven't played much snooker recently as the last 3 Tournaments have only been for the Top players.

Steven Hallworth won the Q Tour play-offs recently so had much more recent match practice than Revesz.

I think Revesz did OK as a first season Pro. He's definitely not the worst on tour.

He's likely to lose his card next year but hopefully early in the season he can build up some confidence in his early Round matches playing against the low ranked players as most Tournaments are tiered now.

No doubt Uncle Barry is once again only serving top players' interest.

Of course.

The changes away from the flat 128 draws will benefit the lower ranked players as it gives them more matches amongst themselves so the better players will progress rather than just getting whipped in the First Round every tournament.

But having the last 3 Tournaments only for the Top 32/16/12 means most of the players go into the Worlds with very little snooker played in the last 3 months.

This is Ian Burns' 13th straight season as a Tour Card holder.

If he fails to Qualify for the Crucible this year, it will be the 6th time he has lost his Tour Card.

In other words, he's only once made it into the Top 64 after 2 years.
