Was at the 3 Arena last night.
Big Willie's walk-on was incredible.
Not sure about the song choice, though?
And what I mean by that is more the lyrics and not because The Cranberries are/were from his neck of the woods.
And I nearly missed the 9 Darter myself.
Went for a slash and more drinks, came back and had to watch from the end of the aisle of tables, as Smith was on the 141. Thankfully no beer went on me

just a stray empty cup going over my head.
And not sure if it was picked up on TV but during the first 4 legs of the Wright - Price match, some cheering occured as some cunt got kicked out for scrapping.
I spotted the fella being carried down the stairs by security alright
What you mean about the song? Because it has political ties?

Why are the Irish so thick?
eh?
Jeering Gurney on those doubles? He might be a Unionist but has way more in common with them then Smith and has tried to embrace the fans in the 'republic'
Just pathetic from the Irish, as usual
You're not obligated to like someone just because they were born near or in the same country as you.
Smith is popular and a good watch, Gurney isn't and isn't, simple enough really.
Smith is popular??? I don’t think he is on this forum. Mind you not many players are.
I'd say Smith is in the popular camp yeah, as you say i wouldn't be using this place as a barometer for that, I sometimes wonder if people here even like darts

Unless he's had the digital de-aging thing from The Irishman. Then no.

He had about 4 security on him and was briefly fighting them all off. Must have been on the sniff.
Yeah. I've heard it on the radio a few times and never really took too much notice of the verses. Was only when I looked it up afterwards and saw that it was a "protest song."
I'm sure he just picked it because he and The Cranberries are from Limerick and it's their most well known song.

Zombie is an anti - IRA song. I think it’s about those two poor lads that were killed in Warrington.

Oh I think people on here like darts, just nobody that plays it

As for Smith, I cant say I’m a fan due to his antics when I see him play. I do however think he is very talented and will eventually win a major event. I was willing the 9 darter in last night as well.
