Down The Boro. Very squashed. None of these struck me as an outstanding candidate for elimination and I've no reason to think Gurney is autodoomed.

I'm struggling to care about the Premier League this year, I've hardly watched it the past 3 weeks. Durrant, Cross, Gurney, Smith and Wright really do test my patience and ability to watch darts.
The only Mervert in town.

My enthusiasm for it always begins to fade once the Euro Tour kicks into action.

Jeering Gurney on those doubles? He might be a Unionist but has way more in common with them then Smith and has tried to embrace the fans in the 'republic'

Just pathetic from the Irish, as usual

Smith is popular and a good watch, Gurney isn't and isn't, simple enough really.

Was at the 3 Arena last night.
Big Willie's walk-on was incredible.
Not sure about the song choice, though?
And what I mean by that is more the lyrics and not because The Cranberries are/were from his neck of the woods.

And I nearly missed the 9 Darter myself.
Went for a slash and more drinks, came back and had to watch from the end of the aisle of tables, as Smith was on the 141. Thankfully no beer went on me 😅 just a stray empty cup going over my head.

And not sure if it was picked up on TV but during the first 4 legs of the Wright - Price match, some cheering occured as some cunt got kicked out for scrapping.

Still love you, Sexy Steve <3

Smith is popular??? I don’t think he is on this forum. Mind you not many players are.

I don’t think there is anything political regarding the jeering.

I'll watch if there's nothing better to do. Missed last night completely. Let's hope at least there's some battle for the top 4

Gurney and Cross at the bottom was no surprise to me. Wright being eighth is. Smith having 5 in 4 is also quite a surprise. But besides that 9 darter he wasn't that good, he was just playing a very out-of-form Gurney and then an 88 avg is obviously enough.
The top 4 as is seems just about right. I can only see Durrant dropping out for Ando or Smith. Wright has to fight to get back. MvG and Asp top two seems legit.

I also missed the 9-darter after watching the first two matches because my parents wanted to watch something else. Damn you.

Smith is frustrating. He could be better than he is and a serious contender for regular major honours if he got his head out of his arse. I'd like to see him get his head out of his arse and get the rewards for it.

I’m not doubting his ability, what annoys me about him and others on here is his attitude eg the petulance if he isn’t winning. Duzza seems to really annoy him for some reason.

I think we pretty much agree on Smith. Would have loved to have seen how irritated he would have been faced with a player like Part in his prime considering how annoyed he was by Durrant beating him.
