64.4 average in Women's Series this year. Only half a point off Aletta Wajer who she plays first round.

Confirmation on WDF website:

Scott replaces Tricole in 2023 WDF Lakeside World Championship
18 November 2023
News
,
WDF Majors
Following Thibault Tricole's qualification for the PDC World Championship, the WDF can confirm that the Frenchman has been replaced in the 2023 WDF Lakeside Men's World Championship by John Scott of England.

This decision has been made in line with WDF rules, which state: "Should any player withdraw from the 2023 Lakeside WDF World Championship after the draw has been made, but before the first game of the tournament has started, that invitation will be extended to the next available highest ranked player from that Main Ranking Table as of Monday 30 October 2023."

In what will be his second WDF World Championship appearance, Scott will face the winner of the first round match between Leonard Gates and New Zealand's Brian Corbett in the last game of the evening on Tuesday 5 December.

As Scott is replacing a seeded player in the draw, he will only be eligible for first round prize money should he be defeated in his first match.

Tickets for the 2023 WDF World Champs are available on our dedicated Eventbrite page.

Yes but in the circumstances that a player has pulled out the next best on the list deserves to quality. Just semantics anyway.

Different context Senna. I mean, many players pulled out of WDF for a variety of reasons. It's unfair to chastise Tricole because of it. The only difference is that his PDC qualifier was at a later date, therefore after the WDF draw. Which is outside his control.

From my view it's definitely a loss for the tournament not to have Tricole there. Because already many big name players are missing so WDF needs any star power they can get.

The odds are finally out, upsettingly for me Gary Stone is 5th favourite at 16/1, i was hoping he'd be bigger priced than that.

Notable odds:

Baetans 13/2
Landman 10/1
Bialecki 12/1
LML 13/1
Duff 16/1
Klaasen 16/1
Lauby 18/1
Pallett 25/1
Gates 25/1

Kovacs 66/1
