The fifth staging of the tournament will once again take place at the iconic Circus Tavern in Purfleet from February 19-21.

We will be revealing the field over the coming days and weeks, as we build up to our flagship championship.

Wouldn’t surprise me if just turns into a once a year Exbo with no others events
Team Corvid 2025 consists of the following 12 players.
Clayton, Littler, Gilding, De Sousa, Wright, Evans, Campbell, Scutt, Lauby, Rob Owen, Patrick Geeraets and Justin Hood.

That's how it started right? Most of us always thought 1 event per year would be ideal

If the WDF did something like this (Reduce their events) it would be questioned by a number of journalists. WSD gets a free pass due to the fact that "Online Darts" is in their pocket

So they have cut it by one day. But I think they did that last time too but then restored it to 4 days.ChrisW wrote: ↑Wed Apr 23, 2025 9:20 pm We are delighted to confirm that the 2026 WSD Seniors World Championship has been finalised!

Looks like they have canned the Masters & Matchplay - Well quietly pretend they didn't set dates for them earlier in the year
All they are talking about is the 2026 Senior World Championship
If thats all they can/want to run fine, But at least be honest about it and not set dates for events and forget that they are going to happen

Re: 2025 WSD World Championship (19th-22nd Feb) - Circus Tavern
Big plans with a proper tour but thats all gone, it seemed that they tought that that would work, but I dont think people are really interested in that. People just want to see the old legends, who mask the fact that one is watching some old farts. Just one WC tournament with 95% handpicked well-known players will probably work, and since it is a world championship finding a broadcaster will also be easier. That they got broadcasters for the other tournaments before was something special

Taylor's involvement probably helped greatly. There is nobody really to replace him in seniors events at the moment.willem0000 wrote: ↑Fri May 02, 2025 11:44 am That they got broadcasters for the other tournaments before was something special

If they are just doing the World Championship just say but don't ignore a tournament they set a date for
Yeah its minor but....
