It''s a field consisting of Baetens, CT also rans, journeymen, and low level international players. I have no idea why some are hyping it up as the best Lakeside field in years It's quite possibly the worst on paper.

No, no, no, it's a great field because Kovacs is in it.

I gave it a +1 because of the poster, not the post.

A Baetens victory, a few decent games, and a boatload of howlers hopefully. ;)

It's not a great field but a very intriguing one
The truth, however ugly in itself, is always curious and beautiful to seekers after it.

Genuine question Oche.

How do you think the 2023 field compares to the 2022 and 2020 fields?

2023 is on par with 2022. 2020 still holds more weight with the likes of Adams, Mitchell, Waites involved.

I compared the 2020 and 2023 fields last week and found that the 2020 field was clearly stronger.

I think the 2022 field was stronger too. It had Veenstra, Littler and Menzies. Although this year's does have Klaasen, Lauby and Landman I guess.

2020 was dubbed weaker by "Experts" at the time. It's aged better then that tbh

2023 i think will be better depth wise but not outstanding quality.

48 is too much for a WDF World Championship. 32 is fine just like the Seniors (But this is another debate)
