Re: World Championship Invitation Discussion
The UK open is The ideal place for the legends to return as they can enter a rileys qualifier not the worlds. The invites should go to the people next highest on the ladies/development/challenge/oom.

Corrine was no.4 in the women's series OOM, so I guess it's not absolutely inconceivable that she gets in if they will want to put Sherrock in.

Say you lost your game to a qualified player and a guy behind you in the rankings beats corinne to fo above you?

I wouldn’t be too happy about it.Randall wrote: ↑Sat Nov 28, 2020 5:15 pmSay you lost your game to a qualified player and a guy behind you in the rankings beats corinne to fo above you?
Im looking at this from a fan perspective of what I would like to see as a one off this year, not from a dart player ranked low down in the oom.
I’ll use you as an example, you bang on about the post count and want to get more posts. I am sure you will agree if the PDC went with the players I picked you would get more posts on here than 8 people that not many people would most possibly be bothered about.

HJ makes a very solid point there. More ladies and old farts would do a wonder for the post count.

In my defence I didn’t first bring John Lowe up.Randall wrote: ↑Sat Nov 28, 2020 4:28 pmI'm arguing against itsennafan24 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 28, 2020 4:27 pmHe's 75 years old, and I swear he injured himself earlier in the year.
It's pointless even entertaining the possibility that he'll get a wildcard.
RVB and Taylor? Perhaps.

as much as i would appreciate it i dont think the post count on here should be a factor in deciding entries into the worlds premier majorHalloweenJack wrote: ↑Sat Nov 28, 2020 6:08 pmI wouldn’t be too happy about it.Randall wrote: ↑Sat Nov 28, 2020 5:15 pmSay you lost your game to a qualified player and a guy behind you in the rankings beats corinne to fo above you?

In fact I’d go as far to say, that if you asked people over the age of 40-45 who were not really dart fans they would know who John Lowe was.
How many dart players are known by the mainstream public who aren’t into darts?
Taylor
Barney
Bristow
Jockey
Lowe
MVG
Possibly Adams and Hankey maybe Anderson, Wade, Wright, Lewis to more very casual dart fans.
