Have to agree with MVG, he should have gone about it quietly, and turned up at Q school, gone about his head shaking antics quietly, and fucked off....but not Barney, he loves the limelight, the expectation on his shoulders will be immense...his managment saying any negative interviews, its over, was brilliant

His manager already said that if he's gonna start moaning again he can fuck off. Now that's a nice manager-player relationship.

When the whole point of his return is likely just a money grab, he'll obviously milk it months before. If he was really hungry for success, he wouldn't make such a big deal out of it. As you say, just sign up for Q-School

Here in the Netherlands our good old men from Veronica Inside responded to Barney's announcement and they basically said they don't care at all and they expect he'll be done in a few months if he first needs to play all those floor events.
One of them made a remark how he'd be better off to just travel from pub to pub and playing for money there like a hustler. Will probably make him more cash as well.

He has been ever since he announced his retirement.
Remember the PL last year? He was going to retire in 2020, then he said he would retire immediately after two 1-7 losses, then his manager said no, then Barney said yes I will, then Barney came back on that quote. One TV show ridiculized it by making all sorts of tribute clips which were either "Barney goes on!!" or "Barney said goodbye..."
I wish there were English subtitles, I'd show you these clips.

I personally hope he gets a wildcard for the Premier league, not because it is warranted, but the meltdown on here would be immense. I think Senna would rather Duzza win a premier event that Barney getting a wild card for the Premier league.
