Aye, he doesn't deserve it.

The list of candidates is weak. But Duzza is one of the worst possibilities.

Glen got to the final of Players Championship 2, beating Peter Wright and Joe Cullen along the way, and was within a dart of winning the tournament. Not a bad start to life as a PDC player!

World number 88 after just two tournaments. :-)

I agree it's not, Stephen Bunting had a similar start to his PDC career and he's forging himself a decent top 20 career!

Now Durrant has achieved his first tournament win at just his fourth attempt, following the final last week! An excellent start to his PDC career!

A greater achievement than taking 3 Bob Potter Cups by sad default.

If he avoids doing an Ian White in the majors he will be safely in the top 32, top 16 will require some better work in the euro tours.

I'd have to agree with this. Even if he's poor for the rest of the season, he's had a fantastic run at the second biggest tournament in the world and has been a big hit with the crowd. Doesn't matter whether he deserves it or not, we're long past that stage!

Think he's well in the running right now and have no problem saying I'm well surprised with his progress, fair play.

That said there's a long way to go and the Worlds tends to have a big influence

Ffs poto has a good run in one major and mushrooms jizzing themselves with glee for his chances in the PL. I'd he wins the major then he will be in the PL and deservedly so. But lets see if he has bottle to win it first. No doubt he should be a contender but think he has to show some consistency to get in the PL. Not convinced he has shown that yet in the PDC. He is a fine player no doubt but lets see how he does here and in the upcoming majors. Two semi finals and a run the quarters in WC maybe he gets PL spot if he throws very well. Outright win he is in. The real question is long term viability and he has a short time frame to work with so still plant of ? Marks.

No problem with Durrant being in the Premier League, still yet to earn it!
