Guess it depends how much time they spend in the place they are born also.
A guy could be born in Scotland, and move to Ireland at the age of 1 and live there all his life, in my case I was one when I moved to cork city and dont class the place I was born as my home.
I take your point on someone not wanting to play for his country though, and totally agree if it dont mean fuckall to him and has no honour in representing the country then get ta fuck out of the squad.
