And Wade

The truth, however ugly in itself, is always curious and beautiful to seekers after it.

Re: 2022 World Matchplay
first impression. the draw looks absolutely killer.
talk about strength in depth.
I'm sure the player's world matchplay store is doing a brisk business in cinderella glass slippers.

Wade will probably lose to coke head or luke in the 2nd round, gets past that round he could it win it all but I doubt it.

Re: 2022 World Matchplay
It's the most open for a while without doubt.
MVG - Could be anything still up and down
Wright - Has been shit since the worlds but looked like there was signs this week.
Lice - The worst of the big 4 and has an appalling record in this tournament.
Clayton - Has been very up and down and not sure if he has the game when it goes up to best of 31+
I would probably say Wright is the best bet out of the big 4
Looking at the draw I Also think Cross is a decent bet.

Re: 2022 World Matchplay
My only worry with Noppie is the format can he beat other experienced players for 3 games in a row of 31 33 and 35 legs I'm not sure.
Cross and DVDB have proved they can.

Can see Humphries, Dimi and Noppert doing well.
But who knows.

Re: 2022 World Matchplay
Anyway, I was going to pick Humphries to win this, but I am not sure now the draw has come out. The field really is wide open. There are probably 6-8 players who could realistically win it.
I'm actually looking forward to this more than the worlds last year. The worlds is great in parts, but it has a lot of dross in it and the crowd is fucking annoying (even when watching on TV). The Matchplay has less dross and a better crowd.

Mind you, Jimmi is attending the Matchplay this year.
So perhaps the crowd isn't better after all.
