Should any player who qualifies for the Grand Slam of Darts have to withdraw for any reason, any further places will be allocated to the Reserve List.
If all players on the Reserve List are in the Grand Slam, any further players would come from the eight “Last 16 losers” from the PDC Tour Card Holder Qualifier, who will be placed in PDC Order of Merit order after the conclusion of the PDC Winter Series (current rankings as below).
Brendan Dolan (28)
Steve Beaton (29)
Ryan Searle (41)
Mickey Mansell (58)
Matthew Edgar (62)
Rowby-John Rodriguez (71)
Jason Lowe (79)
Peter Jacques (121)

How would you allocate spots if they've exhausted the whole criteria and still need players?

I’m guessing they could do it on OOM rankings. There’s the distinct possibility that someone could be tested positive for Covid also.

I read that wrong, I thought they would take precedence over event winners. Then again it's still a farce with the floor qualifiers. Even Euro Tour runner ups or major semifinalists should be above the jobbers who failed to even qualify from the floor.

As things stand, I make it that if Searle qualifies via the Winter Series, Dolan would be in even if nobody pulls out (which is far from impossible with Covid and MvG's ailment). Would rather have it by ranking, but oh well, Gurney has had his chances to qualify

it obviously depends on who else wins the next 4 events. 2 or 3 different winners who haven't already qualified would knock Brenda down the pecking order.

And somehow depressing... Dolan, Beaton, Mansel...
The more I think about it, the more I believe that JC's bipolar crush is right about the state of darts.

Wildcards to Wolfie, Hankey, Walton, Fordham and Barney would be popular.

Just one. The highest placed in the final Winter Series OoM who hasn't already qualified.
