Gando being stuck at 4 is a real pain given he stays in mvgs half.
Wright and cross at 2 and 3, impossible to see either making final.

No worries for Anderson. He'll just beat him as usual and win a 3rd world title along the way.

MVG v Whitlock/Wade
Anderson v Gurney
--------------------------------
Cross v Suljovic/Smith
Wright v Price

Lewis and Barney currently in the top half too.
A first-time world finalist looking likely from the bottom half I'd say.

Dobromyslova will be hoping to get drawn into the bottom half then.

(Too absurd even as a joke?)

You'd have to fancy the very fiery iceman to come through that. Mensur and Smith I'm not sure on, short format you'd probably make Mensur a favourite, but can Mensur last without collapsing over the long distance?

It will not happen but if Gary and the Welsh Bastard meet again at the World Finals, Uncle Barry will have to call either the police or the army in order to keep order on the stage....

I don't think she's been inducted into Team Randall yet, so she must have a chance...

Mensur was still cunting like a maniac deep into extra-time at the final of the hard Matchplay, so yes he can. But I wouldn't trust him, all the same.

Potentially a dozen finalists possible from the bottom half for all I know. The likes of Noppert, de Zwaan, Dimitri and Ratajski would love to be let loose down there. Hopefully they all are.

And so. The PDC World Championship Women's Qualifier (UK/Ireland). Should be a giggle.

No surprise - 31 no-shows here, too, about 20% of the entry list.

Highlighted the 6 BDO top 10 players in the draw - 5 of them in the upper half, only Ashton at the bottom.

Looks like all of Fallon, Deta and Lorraine Winstanley are in the top half.

BDO #13 Roz Bulmer and #14 Laura Turner are among the no-shows, Barry will be thrilled.

Zoe Jones missing, too, but she's not playing the tour nowadays either.

Ashton has a kind draw I take it
