All good things come to an end
For over 35 years I have been competing at the top of darts.
With high peaks and deep lows. With 5 beautiful World Titels and many other trophies I have won. I have seen many countries and met a lot of people. This sport brought me everything I could hope for and I will always be gratefull for that. But I have decided that 2019 will be my final year as a professional darts player. I hope to see all my fans again next year to be able to say goodbye and then put my darts down.
Time takes everybody out. Time is undefeated. – Rocky Balboa
FFS, an even longer farewell tour than Taylor's.
Plus an absolute guaranteed PL place.

UK/Ireland woman qualifier on Sunday and the always joyous PDPA qualifier on Monday.
Worlds draw is on the Monday around 5pm on Sky Sports News.

The men's qualifier could well produce worse than the women's on the evidence of wolves

In hindsight, last year's PDPA qualifier was something of a golden era, Evetts smashing everyone, the start of Jamie Lewis's fairytale, and a lot of quality players who didn't even make it. I'd like to see Razma there, plus Murschell and maybe Killington, but that's about it

A small selection of women - maybe Ashton, Sherrock - wouldn't necessarily do worse at Ally Pally than the decomposing card holders we've completely forgotten about, but those lads ain't coming through the PDPA Qualifier. At least I hope not.

A stab at the eligible players here. Edgar taking the spot of the World Youth Champ and Gilding taking the spot of Cadby, I think is the idea here.
Any advance on this? Zeyes?
Jetze Jan Idsardi @jetze_jan 19h
This list, without Marijanovic and probably Edgar and Gilding.

MUFFIN MAN
The muffin distributing alone would make a more enticing spectacle than anything of some of the other dregs, tbf.

Razma, Shepherd, Marijanovic or Murschell please. Zero interest in the rest of them. This qualifier is bound to be horrible.
The truth, however ugly in itself, is always curious and beautiful to seekers after it.

Clayton at 16 and Barney at 17 could be a worry for somebody.
Burton DeWitt @bsd987 14h
Jonny Clayton is now provisionally in the Top 16 for the first time, knocking out Raymond van Barneveld. His win over Mark Webster also means Ryan Searle has qualified for the World Championship for the first time. Benito van de Pas is in unless 3+ of the following happen:

With the first three obviously not happening now, Burton has confirmed that Benito has qualified for the Worlds.
A lot of crap in that bottom half of the seeds:

What's happening there then? I thought the idea was that Edgar via the pro tour was taking the youth champ spot.
Callan Rydz - 2018 World Youth Championship

Rydz was the only semi-finalist from the World Youth who hasn't qualified otherwise.
Think that needs removing until it's confirmed.

*waves at wikidork*
Not sure if he's had official confirmation but as said previously Edgar has tweeted his belief that he's qualified (somehow).
