14 years ago tonight. A Tennant/Tate episode called Midnight. We're on a space plane. Of death.
Patrick Troughton's son David makes an appearance which is a nice touch.
Speaking of Patrick, 53 years ago tonight. The penultimate episode of The War Games. Doctor Who is on the verge of permanent cancellation and the fate of a barely remembered black and white sci-fi thing from the 60s with that guy from Emmerdale in it.

Me too. Blink and you'll miss him but Troughton's son David is also in The War Games. The undeniable chin.

It's nice to watch War Games and follow up with Spearhead from Space. Consecutive stories but two completely different shows. Love both.

Oh no Randy. It's a classic. All shot on film because of a BBC studio strike and so different from anything that came before it. A whole new show.

This is the first sighting of Jon. In Pat's jacket. Once it had been lengthened by about 19 feet. The first colour shot of a Doctor.

Worth having a look I'd say. Let us know of you find something. I have all the Pertwees and haven't watched any for a couple of years probably. Long overdue a rewatch.

No episode has ever had its first airing on a June 15th. Nothing at all.
But I did find this. This should jog the memory Rands. Spearhead from Space.

15 years ago tonight. The Master returns in 'Utopia'. I think Derek Jaocbi is still with us. I can't swear to it.
