No one wants to see Mitchell stink up the PDC. Stay with your sodding tractor.

He's bound to stay, but it's not exactly a vote of confidence in the brand new shiny BDO era that he recently seemed so enthusiastic about...

he claimed people would return to the bdo in droves, so if he left that would be some u turn

Can't see the big puff switching tbh but fair play to him if he gives it a bash, need to up his game though (considerably).

Would love to see Mitchell coming over to be honest. However, he should not smile after losing anymore. I hate it when people laugh after a defeat.

Yep. After bigging up the new era, it already looks a bit daft that he's even considering leaving! I had the impression that he was fully behind the new guys coming in. He should have kept quiet really but it's cool that he chats openly with fans on twitter. He seems like a nice fellow IMO.

maybe he sees the lights at last.

When the bdo cannot even get rid of free tickets how in the blue fuck do they expect to sell any.

no crowds means less exposure , small prize funds etc

Surely Mitchell considering leaving is proof that there are no new announcements, tournaments etc. He had been led to believe there was and now at the end of Lakeshite he has become aware there is fuk all in the pipeline.

I would laugh my sweaty bollocks off if Mitchell switched. Would hopefully open the floodgates for some of the more stubborn ones.

And the fact it is being so strongly considered by him just shows there is no faith in the BDOs future. Too many broken promises, false dawns and outright bullshit.

The only promises that BDO can make is giving the players tournaments at fish markets.

I'm not going to pass judgement about Waites and Duzza's decision to stay put. As a fan, I think their talents are wasted in the BDO, but if they're happy with their lives, what fans think should be irrelevant to them. However, if a young player has the means, and there is not an external passion stopping them (I.E a job they enjoy), then surely the PDC is the only choice.

With the PDC - not only is there more money to be made, but a player knows what they're getting. If they have the ability, they know it will be rewarded with decent prize money and TV exposure. With the BDO - a player doesn't have such assurances, as despite its bluster, the BDO has yet to follow through with it. Some would say the BDO has a track record of not following through with promises.

Scotty Dog should give the PDC a go.

The free pass has gone this year, the prospect of 12 months around Europes toilets for pittance would depress anyone.
