Started out as a Trump-endorsed candidate for Florida Governor in 2018, was re-elected bigly this year.

There's a lot of reasons why he's a better pick for the Republicans in 2024. He's not as unpopular as Trump, plus he can run again in 2028 if he wins.

But, if he does win the Nomination Trump could decide to run as an independent and that would gift the election to the Democrats.
