I actually voted Yes.

Must admit I didn't think it would be a long format one.

I did too... I thought that he would eventually win one but didn't expect it to be this year or as you say, a week long major...

I always trusted in Bully. Reaching 4 big finals a year is a massive achievement. Sooner or later he was always going to get over the line. His most faithful fans waited and now we are reaping the rewards.

I voted yes too, but didn't really want it to happen. I think it would've been nice to have won one finally where his opponent doesn't roll over but at the same time you could say he was due one after Smudger played excellently against him and Wright put on a masterclass in the Worlds final

With all his natural talent he will need to win much more, which he has plenty of time to do so, but that depends on how his game changes over the next few years...

I'm still not totally convinced that his petulance won''t rear its ugly head if he was taking a beating in a future final.. Time will tell

But, fair play to him, he played very well in the knockout stages and deserved to win

I think Belly will win more TV events, but I doubt he will ever dominate the tour.

MVG will probably win the most TV events over the next few years, but I don't think he will dominate either. It's a very competitive era, that will continue to spawn a variety of TV event winners.

I agree totally. I could see MVG, Price, Wright and Smith being the big 4, but it's more likely that we will continue to have more players who will be contenders for titles. Great era for darts this.

There is no dominant force to stop him
He should really have 2 or 3 this year

I think he will win more now, the big test for him though is in a close match, as he still hasn’t proved he has that extra gear to get over the line in close matches, as has been said it’s not his fault Asp didn’t turn up.
I do think Bullyboy is a serious contender at the worlds this year.

HJ thinks that Smith will win more TV events and is a serious contender to win the worlds this year. However, he still thinks Smith is vulnerable in close matches.
