I'm pretty confident he'll get better chances than a Last 32 opponent averaging 102 in Double start.
Maybe it would help if he averaged more than 78 himself, a poor excuse.
I never said he played well, but one poor performance in a short format doesn't mean he will never win a PDC Stage Title.

Well yes I know but his own 78 average could be a mild concern.

Rogg, you're normally not this reactionary.
It was a 7 leg match, double start.

And everyone is scrambling to find excuses for it, bar the obvious excuse that his own performance was shite.
Going for D19s though is ridiculous, he may as well have thrown the towel in the minute he started doing that. Then again, he probably did.

Eh? Perfectly chilled. I watched it. Glenda was nowhere but Chizzy was amazing and nobody can reasonably be expected to have beaten that.
I'm more interested in the general trend of 'failure' by the definition of this thread but I take no twisted stance on The Duzza. I think he'll win a stage title and if he'd beaten Chizzy I'd consider him a fair bit more likely than Dave to win this one.

Fair enough from your point of view. I think if we'd had a full calendar of Euro Tours this year this thread may never have started. Jamie Hughes won one last year FFS.
Oh well, the quest goes on.

Other than the switch to t19 that made zero sense and even then the switch from 40 to 60 makes a million times more sense

Indeed, Duzza had the 2nd lowest average of the night.
It wasn't just that Chizzy played well.

Back to the quest then. Bump. Surely his first stage final coming in at the other end of this revolting mess...

On his 23rd attempt, a first PDC stage final at last.
It just had to come via an 86 average having survived two match darts.

4 match darts.
Anderson had 2 shots at the bull to win it.

I went a bit gentle on the jobbing, sorry. Next time he throws his darts in a lake, he should remember not to let go first.

Could easily just edit it to "major" title.

Only a few on here consider the third biggest title in darts not a major
