Wouldn't be hugely surprising though if somebody else still withdraws by Saturday, or just doesn't show up on the day.

Depending on where the Riley's qualifiers are this, we may see one or two local Challenge Tour players who haven't already qualified opt out of the ProTour, even just for the one day

Oh Raymond.
2020 World Grand Prix Lucky Dip winner!
2x 2019 Q-School Lucky Dip winner!

Both as valuable as the Lakeside piss pot!

Four replacement players actually, Shaun Carroll is in as well (for José Justicia). The dangers of Twitter people taking Josh Phillips-authored PDC articles at face value...

Any valid reason why the Players Championship isn't open to the general public to watch? Main board and all that. Surely uncle Bazza is missing a trick here, not hawking it around the UK/Europe (played in the same area as the PL a couple of night's before).

That's called the European Tour.

I'm pretty sure the players want it to be closed doors too.

Will anyone give odds on Barney sacking off this Sunday if he loses early on Saturday?

The venues aren't capable of hosting crowds, not enough space

Hopp has withdrawn from this weekend's events, so no play-in game needed for Portela and Hamilton now.
