Worth a look at this fella, you'd guess by the nickname of "Starboy" that he's fairly well regarded, if not quite on Dreamboy levels. This pic is from the previous year's EDL festivities so he's not really kicked on, and in fact he finished bottom of the EDL Premium Liiga this season (https://darts.ee/userfiles/Image/pildid ... 024_25.pdf)

His best recent effort was a 6-6 draw with Kruusvee in March (https://recap.dartconnect.com/matches/6 ... 55d556479f)

For a bit of a gauge of what's required for an Estonian to make the step up, let's look at a couple of Baltic Number Twos.



These are from the recent Nordibalt meet. Pretty decent from Melderis actually, but it's clear that 70 is the basement level, and they operate around the 70-90 range, while our Eesti lads are in 60-80 territory. Bit of a gulf, then.

Our new tall friend Olaf lost a match but slid down the trash chute and ended up on top.

Double elimination, oh. I'm not sure if Channel 5 (or a tiny sideroom channel) would be ready for that.

Olaf was the only player to hit a 180.

Kuuste Dartsiklubi held an event to celebrate its fifth birthday yesterday. Don't think too hard about how the club ended up being established in May 2020. Anyway, there were winners:



The men. I am told these are Geven Piir, Allan Tagen, and Olavi Laurson. I think the sad fella on his own is Alar Raha.



Meanwhile, in the women's event, Estonia's answer to the Huybrechts brothers, Hanna Elizabeth & Tiina Tiisler, took the top two spots. Name pending on left lady.
