There 350 in woman’s so it be 2 or 3 games so definitely deserves biggest woman’s comp of yearMr Brightside wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2025 5:15 pmWould be taking the piss if they paid down to last 64 in the womens as that would mean a lot of players would only need to win one game to get into the money/points where as how many games is it the men would need to get into the money/points? 4 or 5 I think.1205 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2025 3:15 amTo answer Brightside's question, yes, there is cross subsidy.Foggs3355 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2025 1:06 amPrize money good for both all tho this many in should be last 64 payout in lady’sMr Brightside wrote: ↑Mon Jan 13, 2025 10:09 pmJesus 10 times the amount of mens entries than womens, Does the prize money reflect this or do we still live in an age where mens darts funds womens darts?willem0000 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 13, 2025 12:25 pm
3422 last year, and still 2 days to enter. Will probably see some crushed tourcard dreams enter
Women are up 5 to 325
Mens pairs last year 1707 now 1943. Womens up 17 to 191.
CHAMPION lady’s
€3,000.00
RUNNER-UP
€1,250.00
SEMI FINALISTS
€625.00
QUARTER FINALISTS
€320.00
LAST 16
€160.00
LAST 32
€80.00
CHAMPION men’s
€6,000.00
RUNNER-UP
€3,000.00
SEMI FINALISTS
€1,500.00
QUARTER FINALISTS
€750.00
LAST 16
€375.00
LAST 32
€200.00
LAST 64
€100.00
LAST 128
€50.00
The WDF rule is that women's event should receive no less than 20%. of the prize money.
But I calculate 9340 women v 27600 men, so they're way above that.
They're kept the women's to the minimum Last 32.
Last 64 at 40 euros would have needed another 1280. But instead they added 500 to the winner.
Think they just got lucky with the darts boom that Barney created. People came with the masses and they just kept coming because they knew from the year before that it is a party. Other countries probably had a more gradually interest in darts, whereas in Holland is wasnt shown untill Barney was in the Lakeside final or semi final and then it went mental.
Might have to add that to " Swan Watch "oche balboa wrote: ↑Thu Jan 16, 2025 10:01 am So the Recent Tourcard holders who are playing in this
Danny van Trijp
Geert Nentjes
Jurjen van der Velde
Jeffrey Sparidaans
Jeffrey de Zwaan
Other unseeded players who are notable
Wesley Harms, Jimmy Hendriks, Geert De Vos, Jeroen Geerdink, Martijn Kleermaker, Niels De Ruiter, Born Van Put,
Plus more.... loads of names
So two of the Winmau World Masters groups will be missing a player then? With 2 Dev Tour players at the Dutch Open.
Not sure if they registered for the WWM, if so they will play on wednesday, if they don't come far they will probably play the DO on Saturday. Beau is also registered for the pairs on Friday. But I believe that all preliminary rounds of the WMM are played on wednesday so I would assume multiple players will try there first and if they don't make the cut move to the DO.
A number of flights being booked up that may or may not be taken based off whether they’re in the main WWM or not then?willem0000 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 16, 2025 1:05 pmNot sure if they registered for the WWM, if so they will play on wednesday, if they don't come far they will probably play the DO on Saturday.
