Presumably now will take his tour card and leave WDF. Anything else would've been lunacy.

In a further howler, Chris Landman has qualified for Ally Pally.

So that's the current WDF ranked #4 and #15 off to the PDC Worlds.

The only 'invitation' will be to turn off the lights.

In brighter news, this bumps up Wolfie into the top 16. Unfortunately, they were using Wolfie's likely appearance in the first round as a selling point for the opening weekened.
Landman hasn't said which invite he'll accept has he?
If he didn't want to play at Ally Pally, presumably he wouldn't have bothered to enter the qualifier in the first place?
Well I wasn't serious but yes you're right

Maybe a howler....Potter puts a World Seniors event on at his own gaff a few months after the Worlds, potentially splitting the audience

Is there something in either T&C's that prevents a player from playing both if not a tour card holder?

Yes it's in the WDF rules:
Men that play in the 2022 PDC World Darts Championship shall not be eligible to play in the 2022 Lakeside WDF World Championship.

If the tournaments are going to overlap occasionally then it's probably for the best that everyone's rules shut it down.

What about the women? Will Ashton and Sherrock actually be appearing in the fields for tournaments which overlap? Imagine if... lol. Fallon was only two sets short of the PDC Last 16 last time around which is right on the cusp of New Year's Day.

Cheers Rogg.

I imagine the Q school dates do put paid to Sherrock having any decision to make, would have been tempting otherwise though she must have an EV of not far off Β£20k at Lakeside.
