Actually they have a Top 16 play-off on Monday. So they're really just jockeying for position in the play-offs at this point.
It explains why Puha rocked up late in the season. In just 1 1/2 weekends he's got himself comfortably into the top 16.
After 8 events, 16th was 20 points and he already has 48 points from 3 events.

The Madhoo/Fitzgerald show seems to be continuing. They are the first two into the last 8.

I wasn't sure of some of the nationalities based on the flags. So in case it's useful to anybody else, if you get the image name used for the flag, it mostly seems to be using the 2-character Internet code. Some are not Internet. that UK is gb, England is ze, Northern Ireland is zu.
- On Android you can press and hold on the image and it pops up the name of the svg.
- On a PC you should be able to right-click and copy the image link or inspect the element and see the image file name.

The variance is fun.

A 35-darter followed by a 13 to win it.

Elsewhere, The final NZ tour event happened. Dartconnect is still fuckoed but you can see the bracket: https://tv.dartconnect.com/event/dpnzpt ... kets/61795

Cleaver and Robb both lost in the last 32.

Milne lost in the QF.

Puha won the tournament.

So that means something. There are play-offs tomorrow... for the Worlds spot, or a separate championship?

I read that there are doing the play offs to help Puha

As much as I generally prefer tour winners getting Ally Pally spots rather than knockout event winners, in this case, it’s fair enough as Puha shouldn’t be penalised for earning a tour card

But he should be able to qualify through the PC OOM if he's good enough. If not he has the PDPA qualifier. That should be his 2 chances
